Fast Video Downloader — Privacy Policy

Overview

Fast Video Downloader is a free Android app. This policy explains what the app does — and does not — do with your data.

Data Collection

Fast Video Downloader does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app:

• Does not track you or collect analytics
• Does not require an account or login
• Does not send data to external servers
• Does not contain third-party advertising SDKs

Local Storage

All data created by the app stays on your device only:

• Downloads — Videos and audio files are saved to your device's storage. You choose where they are saved.
• Browser data — History, bookmarks, and cookies are stored locally. Nothing is sent externally.
• App settings — Proxy configs, ad-block filter lists, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Download history — Metadata about downloads is stored in a local database.

You can clear all local data at any time via the app settings.

Internet Access

The app requests internet permission for:

• Downloading videos and audio from websites you choose
• Running the built-in browser
• Fetching ad-block filter lists (from publicly available sources)
• Connecting through proxy/VPN if you configure one

Traffic routed through your configured proxy (V2Ray, HTTP, SOCKS5) goes through your proxy server — not through the app developer's servers. We do not intercept or log this traffic.

Encrypted DNS (DoH/DoT)

If you enable encrypted DNS, DNS queries are sent directly to your configured DNS-over-HTTPS or DNS-over-TLS server. We do not log or intercept these queries.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted in the app and on this page.
